Delivery Driver & Brewery Assistant 

Department:	Brewery
Reports to:	Head Brewer
Role summary:	Delivery Driver and brewery assistant handles local beer deliveries, manages inventory, and supports production by cleaning casks/kegs, packaging, and warehouse tasks. Key requirements include a clean driving license, high physical fitness for lifting heavy kegs, and strong customer service skills for client deliveries

Responsibilities

• Delivery & Logistics: Safely and accurately deliver kegs, cases, and casks to clients in our company vehicles, and also collect empties
• Customer Service: Represent our brewery by building relationships with pubs, bars, and retail customers
• Interact professionally with customers & resolve basic delivery related enquiries
• Brewery Operations: Assist with keg washing, packaging, and general cleanliness
• Warehouse Management: Organise stock, rotate products, prepare pallets for wholesale, and operate a forklift where needed
• Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and report any maintenance issues to the head brewery
• Inventory management - verify stock against invoices to ensure accuracy during delivery.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Physical Strength, ability to move 50-70kg kegs regularly
• Strong communication, positive attitude, reliability, and basic computer skills
• Previous delivery experience is preferred but not always required, as training is often provided. 
• Navigational skills and time management - proficient with GPS tools to ensure timely deliveries
• Forklift certificate (preferred)
• Ability to become proficient with our integrated software on your mobile phone
